Application.ActivateMicrosoftApp (index) – this activates another Microsoft application, such as word if it is already running or it will start the application if it’s not running e.g. Application. ActivateMicrosoftApp xIMicrosoftWord.
Application.Calculate – calculates all open workbooks.
Application.CheckSpelling – checks the spelling of an object or a single word.
Application.DoubleClick – opens the active cell in sheet 1 for editing (like double clicking on a cell).
Application.FindFile – displays the Open dialog box.
Application.OnKey – runs a specified procedure when a particular key or key combination is pressed.
Application.Quit – quits Excel with prompts to save unsaved workbooks.
Application.SaveWorkspace(filename) – saves the open workbooks into a workspace e.g. Application.SaveWorkspace “sapce” saves the current workspace a space.xlw.
Application.CutCopyMode – returns or sets the status of Cut or Copy mode
e.g. If Application.CutCopyMode=False
Then MsgBox “Not in copy or cut mode”
Application.Interactive – can be used to prevent users from interfering with the macro while it runs by making Excel non-interactive.
Application.OperatingSystem – returns the name and version number of the current operating system E.g. MsgBox “Excel is using” & Applcation.OperatingSystem.
Application.TemplatesPath – returns the local path where templates are stored
Application.Version – returns the Microsoft Excel version number
Application.WindowState – returns or sets the state of the application window, such as, maximised, minimised etc. e.g. Application.WindowSate = xIMaximized.
